CALENDAR OF EVENTS: Mark your calendars for this years' events
PLAYGROUP:
The PNNC playgroup is scheduled every Monday morning from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. It's a great way to start off your week. Children of all ages are welcome. While we love all kids, we especially love healthy ones, so if your child is in the early days of a cold or has had a fever in the past 24 hours, please wait until the next week.
Each week the Monday playgroup rotates to a different member's home.
If you would like to receive the playgroup schedule electronically, would like to volunteer your house to host (or host at a park if you prefer), or would like the information on a specific week's location, please contact Virginia Watkins at virginia@becktins.com
BOOK CLUBS:
Both the Tuesday and Wednesday night book clubs are reading Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. If you are interested in joining the Wednesday night book club please contact Carin Alemania at carinb1@yahoo.com.
MARGARITA PARTY

No time for a Siesta, it's time for a Fiesta!
Please join us for the annual PNNC Margarita Party. This year, we'll be celebrating
in the backyard of Roderick & Carin Alemania. The margaritas will be flowing,
and we'll have a full taco bar, chips & guacamole, a caesar salad and plenty
of desserts. If you would, please bring an appetizer to share.
We're hoping for an Indian Summer, but be sure to wear a wrap/jacket in case
of cooler weather. The cost is $25 per person -- cheaper than a night at Tres Agaves
-- and more fun, we promise! Advance RSVP is needed, for more information please

SPOOKY SATURDAY PLAYGROUP
WHAT: PNNC Spooky Saturday Playgroup
Get into the spirit of Halloween with your family
Put on your Halloween costumes and get ready for the big day
Enjoy face painting, crafts, and a candy scavenger hunt for children up to 8 years
Drink some coffee or juice and eat a few bagels while the little Spidermans and
Princesses play
Please bring fruit or some other breakfast item to share

HOLIDAY PARTY
This is one of our annual favorites. We know the holidays are busy, so save Saturday, December 6 to enjoy some holiday cheer with a few friends and neighbors. If you're interested in hosting this event at your house, please email Trina Walz at trinamilos@yahoo.com
WINE NIGHT
Last year's wine party was such a success, that we're repeating the format this year. Line up the babysitting now and join us on Saturday, March 7 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. We're all meeting at the Vine Wine Bar (upstairs lounge) at 3344 Lakeshore Avenue (www.vinewine.com). It will be a private party to sample the world of wines from Argentina, Italy, Chile, and New Zealand. There will also be some California wines for comparison. There's a $25 fee per person which includes wine tasting and appetizers. This is payable at the door with cash or credit card. Last year many couples continued the festivities and went out on a "date" or with a small group. We'll be sending an Evite soon to let the Vine Wine Bar plan accordingly. We've also included a few restaurant ideas for newcomers and for neighbors looking for something new.
